It’s gone.

I know now,

The idea of a man hurting someone innocent

Turns off my need to understand and contemplate

I don’t need a Bible or moral compass for this one

Because when you hurt someone who cannot protect themselves

I don’t care if it’s because you were hurt as a kid

I don’t care if you were drinking

I don’t care if you have anger issues

I will be damned if you ever have the ability to use your hands again.

I have always “known” this,

But now I feel it
